Amprolinvet oral solution

A light-yellow to dark-yellow oily liquid.

COMPOSITION

• Amprolium hydrochloride: 125 mg;
• Solvent: Q.S. to 1 mL.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

Amprolium hydrochloride is a chemotherapeutical agent of a well-marked coccidiostatic action.  It is useful against all types of Coccidia parasitizing in farm poultry and sheep (Eimeria acevulina, Eimeria necartix, Eimeria tenella, and others).
It is a low-toxic compound.

USES

The preparation is used to treat and prevent coccidiosis in farm poultry and sheep

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not administer to animals with their kidneys or liver affected.

PRECAUTIONS

A preparation excretion period is 14 days for meat and 10 days for eggs.

HOW SUPPLIED

Solution for oral administration in 1-mL ampuls No.10 and 100-mL vials, 1000-mL flasks.

STORAGE

Store in a dry place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 °Ñ. Shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.

DOSAGE

The preparation is administered orally in the following doses:

Animals	Preventive Dose	Therapeutic Dose
Poultry	1 mL/1 L of water	2 mL/1 L of water
Sheep	2 mL to 3 mL per 30 kg of body weight with portable water	5 mL per 30 kg of body weight with portable water
