Enrofloxvet 5% sterile solution

Form of application: oral administration, Injection.

Active ingredient: Enrofloxacin.

Packaging: vials 20-mL, Vials 100 ml.

A clear, colorless to light-yellow oily liquid.

COMPOSITION

• Enrofloxacin: 50 mg;
• Solvent: Q.S. to 1 cm³.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

Enrofloxacin is an antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone group; it is active against gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Mycoplasma, Camphylobacter, Pasteurella and Haemophilus spp.

USES

The preparation is used to treat diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tracts, urogenital system caused by microorganisms sensitive to enrofloxacin in cattle and small cattle, pigs, poultry, dogs, and cats.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to the preparation, as well as to animals with their liver or kidneys affected, during pregnancy period.
Do not combine with nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAID), macrolide antibiotics, and tetracycline.

PRECAUTIONS

Animals treated with the preparation may only be slaughtered for meat not earlier than 12 days of the last use of the preparation; milk is fit for food in 4 days.

• Enrofloxvet 5 % for injection: 20-mL, 100-mL vials;

STORAGE

Store in a dry place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in an unopened manufacturer’s container (List B). Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
