Amoxivet 15% sterile suspension

Form of application: Injection.

COMPOSITION

1 mL of the preparation contains 150 mg of amoxicillin trihydrate.

CHARACTERS

An oily, white to yellowish suspension. It is layered when stored.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

Amoxicillin is semi-synthetic penicillin of a wide spectrum of action. The type of action is a bactericidal one. It is active with respect to gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (colibacillus, salmonella, streptococcus, staphylococcus, and others).

USES

The preparation is used to treat diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin (infections of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tracts, urinary system, skin, surgical infections, and others).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

The preparation is administered by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Shake before use. Inject 1mL of the preparation per 10 kg of body weight of animals once; repeat, if required, in 48 hours.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Allergic reactions to the preparation ingredients. Do not administer to small ruminants, guinea-pigs, rabbits. Do not administer to one site more than 20 mL.
