COMPOSITION

1 g of the preparation contains 150 mg of amoxicillin trihydrate.

CHARACTERS

A white to yellowish powder.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Amoxicillin is semi-synthetic penicillin of a wide spectrum of action. The type of action is a bactericidal one. It is active with respect to gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (coli bacillus, salmonella, streptococcus, staphylococcus, and others).

USES

The preparation is used to treat diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin (infections of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tracts, urinary system, skin, surgical infections, and others).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Amoxivet 15% Powder for Oral Administration:
–Cattle: 1.0 g per 10 kg of body weight;
–Small cattle: 1.0 g per 10 kg of body weight;
–Pigs: 1.0 g per 10 kg of body weight;
–Dogs, cats: 2.0 g per 10 kg of body weight;
–Poultry: 1 g per 1-2 L of portable water.
Administer the preparation orally with portable water or feed once daily; treatment duration is between 3 days and 5 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

 Allergic reactions to the preparation ingredients. Do not administer to small ruminants, guinea-pigs, rabbits.

PRECAUTIONS

 Animals may only be slaughtered for meat in 14 days of the last use of the preparation; milk is fit for food in 4 days.

1-g, 1,000-g polymeric packs, polymeric containers.

STORAGE

Store protected from light at a room temperature of between +10°С and +25°С (List B).
Shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
