Lanvet rodenticide for elimination of rats and mouse

Wheat or barley grain, grits, groats painted a specified color.

COMPOSITION

• Wheat or barley grain   : 1,000 g;
• Bromadialon 0.25%      : 22 ml

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

Bromadialon, the active ingredient of the bait, is a poison of anticoagulation action which, upon entering the organism of rodents, inhibits the synthesis of prothrombin in the liver with the result of impaired blood coagulation and the rodents die due to loss of blood in 3 days to 5 days after being poisoned with the bait.

USES

The bait is used to kill rats and mice in both dwelling and non-dwelling rooms.

PRECAUTIONS

Use the bait in locations out of reach of domestic animals.
All persons who handle the bait should be instructed in safe handling poisoned baits.
Treat the dishes, feeders, trays in which the bait was placed with a 2% solution of soda ash or with an aqueous suspension of chlorinated or slaked lime (exposure for 1 hour to 2 hours).  Following dish washing and treatment, drain the washings to a hole of 0.5 m deep located far away from water reservoirs, water supply sources, fields to graze livestock and other similar locations.
Burn the dead bodies of rodents collected.

HOW SUPPLIED

The bait is supplied packaged in 50-g to 500-g PE packs, cartons, PE bags, glass or polymeric cans.

STORAGE

Store in the manufacturer’s containers out of reach of strangers, pets, domestic animals in a dry vented room at a temperature not exceeding +35ºÑ separately from feed and food products.
Shelf life of the bait if 2 years from the date of manufacture.

DOSAGE

Place the bait in rooms in several locations out of reach of domestic animals at a distance of 5 m to 10 m in 50-g to 200-g portions to kill rats and at a distance of 2 m to 5 m in 10-g to 100-g portions to kill mice.  Add the bait till it has been eaten by rodents (for about 10 days to 15 days).
